A visit to the almost ruined village is definitely worth it. Are only about 50 hm extra. Look at the marked points in the village in Komoot. He is waiting to be resurrected.

The settlement was built on the site of a prehistoric Gradina. Inscriptions and reliefs testify to life in antiquity. The city was first mentioned in the 11th century in a deed of gift to the Patriarch of Aquileia. Even then, the place was fortified, which was rebuilt and strengthened during the administration under various rulers, starting with the Counts of Gorizia, the Habsburgs, the owners of Devin, as well as the Austrian Empire.
