The new connection between Wels and Thalheim is 3.5 meters wide and 90 meters wide. Bridge builder Erhard Kargel reduced them and designed them with restraint. "It was important to me that the construction follows aesthetic criteria without costing more," emphasizes Kargel. He describes the 15 meter long bridge over the Aiterbach as the "little sister" of the footbridge over the Traun. Pedestrians can now reach the museum from the parking lot in the exhibition center at Welldorado within five minutes. Pedestrians and cyclists are equal users on the new bridge.
