The Soeste is the small, beautiful river that flows through Cloppenburg, fills the dam and then continues through Friesoythe into the Barßeler Tief. Here, at this point, it has its source - and we should take good care of it, because the source of the Soeste has mostly dried up in the meantime. So I post this highlight as a memorial for the handling of our water.

Well, the source isn't all that exciting now. But the environment is very calm and beautiful. And as a Cloppenburger you should know where the Soeste comes from, right ?!
