08/26/2018 - Svaty Kopecek means Holy Mountain, already at the entrance to Mikulov, but still in Austria you can see the beautiful St. Sebastian chapel. The view from up here over to the castle with the beautiful old town and its red roofs makes up for the somewhat bumpy way up.
It can be visited in July and August, on Saturdays from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. and on Sundays from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. 😊👍

Beautiful chapel at the top of the mountain. The way up is quite rocky and there are steps. From the top you have a wonderful view of Mikulov. There is a path up, on which the Stations of the Cross are reproduced with human-sized stone figures. On the whole way there are always Bankerl to rest, even on the rocky path to the top. Everything is beautifully designed! Above you can also make a small break with a great view.

A beautiful place, a beautiful chapel and the connected Way of the Cross (by the way, one of the oldest in the CZ) leading past other chapels, which I recommend you walk through when you run up the hill.
