Nice vantage point over the Kiel Canal and the new Grünentaler high bridge.
The first Grünentaler high bridge was built at this point in 1892. This served for 96 years and was demolished in 1988 and replaced with the new bridge that is in place today.

Western bridgehead - On it is a memorial to the old bridge. An information board shows a picture of the old high bridge and informs about the local history. The course is also good for boat observation on the canal. The steep ascent from the canal is no problem with an eBike!
