The first church in Althüttendorf was built in 1746. After a fire it was destroyed and a new church was built between 1803 and 1810. In 1921 the church received two bells from Apolda in Thuringia. Today the church is also used for the annual popular choir performances and is a hiking church.

One of the sights of the community is the village church, which was built in 1803-1810 from stone and wood. As a "wandering church" it offers hikers and cyclists a place to rest.

Many of the places and monuments that you come across along the way are evidence of the horrors of war and tyranny, which is still relevant and relevant today. They all have two essential functions, and this for each new generation:
-1- Commemorate and remember the victims
-2- Remind to keep the peace
