A little below the castle is a natural granite block in the shape of a large coffin with a chest and lid. This stone is called the "chest of the dead". This coffin is supposed to contain all of the castle's treasures, but the chest is guarded by the last lord of the castle, in the form of a fiery cat. Is it true, who knows? But that's how it is told.

From the vantage point at the chest of the dead you have a beautiful view of the surrounding area, and there is also a bench. Nice place for a break.
