Cristo Rei is a statue of Christ in the city of Almada in Portugal. [1] It depicts Christ with his arms open, turning to the bridge of April 25 and the city of Lisbon.
The statue stands on a 75 meter high pedestal. This is located 113 meters above the Tagus. The statue itself is 28 meters high and thus the seventh highest statue of Christ in the world.

If you want to go up to the statue, you have to pay 6 € admission, a disinfection and a fever measurement (Sept. 2021) ... then you go up with the elevator, but at the end you have to walk up to the platform. People with claustrophobia grab this !!
