The court was initially housed in the castle Landestrost. Due to space problems 1884 further rooms were rented, 1903 then the current building was built on the Schlossstraße. The old building was extended in 1967 by an extension to the Ludwig Enneccerus Square, which today houses the main building. The two outbuildings are located in Schlossstraße and Schloss Landestrost in the immediate vicinity of the main building.

The courthouse looks just as noble as the neighboring Landestrost Castle. On site, one actually wonders which is the real castle. A building worth seeing.

The district court of Neustadt is one of the six district courts in the district of the district court of Hanover.

The building was built in Neustadt am Rübenberge in 1903 after the premises in Landestrost Castle were no longer sufficient.
