Unfortunately, access is currently (November 2021) prohibited/blocked. For a hike on the left side along the Getzbach in the direction of Ternell, it is advisable to inquire at the nature center beforehand. This section is part of the "Green Cross" hike and has been declared a "difficult hiking trail".

According to the signs, access is still prohibited. The background probably has legal liability reasons. The nature trail that branches off from here is sometimes difficult to walk on, especially when it is wet. Contrary to this nature trail, there are no longer any signposts. The barrier there is inoperative by the wayside.

There is currently a "Dangerous Path" warning when crossing the dam, but I thought it was not too bad until the bridge towards Haus Ternell. Of course, you should always be careful when walking a mountain trail.
