Take a stroll through the historic old town. There are many destinations in the old Hanseatic city of Schwerte an der Ruhr! For example, the gothic hall church St.Viktor with its art and cultural treasures, the Ruhrtal Museum in the old town hall or the anchor points of the Route of Industrial Heritage.

Always worth a visit, the swords old town. If you like half-timbered houses and historic buildings, this is the place for you. A walk through the Schwerter Altstadt is entertaining, varied and always beautiful.

Besides the medieval ensemble around the Market square (Old Town Hall and St Viktor church) more of the traditional historic residential and other profane buildings have survived further north of the market. The old town of Schwerte is absolutely worth a little stroll.
Why the 2 same users have to put on the HL every few meters and then a total of over 70! Putting pictures on it is a mystery to me (yes, I know, that's how you become a pioneer and stuff... 😬)
