A beautifully decorated church, such as the Maria Immaculata in Büren, can only rarely be found in North Rhine-Westphalia. The Jesuit church was built in 1640 at the request of Moritz von Büren. As the last male descendant of von Bürens he decreed in his will about the construction of the church. In the baroque landmark of the city can be married today and of course celebrate church services. If you want to see the Jesuit church outside of a mass inside, you can do so every third Sunday of the month at 4pm.

The architectural style of this precious sacral building is Baroque in the facade, the interior design is pure Rococo style elements. The wooden doors of the aisles show technically brilliant inlay work.
