"Not far from the city center is the Catholic church" Sankt Bonifatius "on Clementstraße.
At the end of the 19th century, Catholic reapers (today called harvest workers) came to the island of Rügen. Initially, only a few families lived here, so that a small Catholic chapel met the demands.
