On the map a rather inconspicuous summit at just 1400m, but a beautiful ascent route and above all a stunning 360-degree all-round view. The well-known peaks such as Roßstein and Buchstein, Benediktenwand and Brauneck, the Karwendel range, the Blaubergekamm or the Zugspitze can be seen from your own perspective. Add to that the great view of the Isar valley, where Lenggries, Bad Tölz and in the background Munich line up like a string of pearls.

The summit of the Hochalm is, as the name implies, like a small alpine pasture, rather a large meadow, where there is plenty of space and seating for a nice snack. And to all this, from here you have a great view of the Isar Valley.

Great tour for the fall and winter, through the south-side ascent you have plenty of sun. There is often fog down there, while the sun is shining up here
