The Teichwirtschaft Ahlhorn is located between Cloppenburg and Grossenkneten near the A29 motorway. In the middle of the lakes is a youth center of the Evangelical Church.

The fish ponds are managed by the Ahlhorner Teichwirtschaft, which also operates an information center including a forest education center.

This 15 km long circular hike takes you on forest trails and paths around the various fish ponds and integrates the lonely Lake Diana south of the fish ponds.
