The café is only open when the weather is good and warm enough. It's self-service. The selection is small, but the outdoor seating offers a pleasant and relaxed atmosphere.

In the information center, the source region of the Ems is clearly described, especially the special features of the Ems as seepage springs that pour continuously all year round. In a model, visitors can let the Ems rise themselves or accompany a ship from the famous Meyer shipyard in Papenburg through the Ems barrage towards the North Sea.
