On the platform, with short to medium telephoto lenses, the aircraft taking off on the 18 aircraft can be photographed very well from noon, as well as the aircraft arriving on the southern taxiway from Airbase or Terminal 2 and the regional section. In east wind conditions, medium to long telephoto lenses enable images of the landing aircraft from the morning until the afternoon. Here we are at the easternmost point of Frankfurt Airport. The picture shows the viewing platform. From here you can see the arriving or departing machines best. On special days, when special aircraft are approaching, sometimes up to 500 guests stand on the viewing platform to take pictures of incoming machines.
