Grandiose view - Attention behind the cable car really starts the high mountains - solid shoes and warm and weatherproof clothing are on another tour from there duty, sit down and look like the people get off the train and freezing or with battered feet in the next train to escape the wild mountains :-)

We were there almost every season except midsummer in August. At the valley station is often crowded, even when driving through Malcesine. We are then right after St. Michele, have parked there and then the second section high.

This two-level cable car is a very special attraction, because in the upper section, the gondola turns once around its own axis, so that everyone can look in any direction. But beware - even in low season, there are some passengers, so you do not have to wait long, but the gondolas are full. I do not want to know what's going on in midsummer. The climb takes, however, especially since you have to change. If you then have to wait for both gondolas go ever 40 minutes each direction into the country.
