Wurzen Castle is one of the oldest castle buildings in the German-speaking world. It shows the transition from a castle complex to a residential palace and is considered an incunabula of Central German palace architecture.

The castle is open daily and there are regular public tours and guided tours on request. In addition to the restaurant and hotel business can be booked meetings, celebrations and Knights Tables. Brunch takes place every last Sunday of the month.
