For the further hike on the "Tour des Dents-du-Midi" (circumnavigation of the massif with seven striking rocky peaks) up to the Cabane de Susanfe hut, to the south-east you can see the rock faces as foothills of the Dent de Bonavau, along which the path leads upwards, and the rock incision to the east (left) of it at the upper edge of the gorge, through which the rock path then continues. Below the gorge you can see the high waterfall of La Saufla, which flows down through the gorge into the valley of Champery.
