Öjendorfer Park is a sprawling natural oasis located in Hamburg, Germany, specifically on the eastern edge of the Billstedt district. As Hamburg's third-largest park, it encompasses nearly 140 hectares and is centered around the expansive Öjendorfer See, a lake twice the size of the city's Inner Alster. The 140 hectare park was created on an area originally used for agriculture, in which a sand pit was operated from 1925 to 1929. After the Second World War, around 25 million tons of rubble from the destroyed eastern parts of Hamburg were deposited in this pit. In 1954, the remaining parts of the pit were filled with water. Since 1958, the park landscape around the lake that has been created has been shaped with shredded debris and gradually landscaped. The park was only finished in 1968.

Öjendorfer Parkı özellikle güzel çünkü bir gölün etrafında yürüyüş yapabilirsiniz. Büfe harika! Hatta ızgara bile kiralayabiliyorsunuz... Ama: Yazın neredeyse şehir parkı kadar kalabalık!
