Here's the best Kaspressknödelsuppe! The Tiefrastenhütte lies at 2,312 meters directly next to the Tiefrastensee and is a popular starting point for day trips. It is the destination of a day's stage on the Pfunderer Höhenweg.

Very nice view of the Puster Valley. At the lake you can sunbathe and switch off with the view of the lake. The food on offer at the hut is good and inexpensive. The hosts are friendly and very quick at work.
