Part of the Canal Bajo, it is one of the three most picturesque aqueducts and one of the oldest still in operation, together with the Sima and Retuerta aqueducts. You will pass under it and deserve to appreciate a true work of engineering that is still standing after so many years.

The three most colorful aqueducts in this area of the Canal Bajo de Madrid are the aqueduct of La Sima, this aqueduct of Valcaliente or Valquijancho and the aqueduct of La Retuerta, with their respective beacons and vents.
These hydraulic works belong to the Canal Bajo, the oldest in operation of the Canal de Isabel II.
