The war memorial, which today commemorates those who died in the Second World War in the parish of Rescheid, was originally the parish's »Christ-Königs-Platz« and was erected in the 1930s. The monument was extensively renovated in 2018 by the youth of the village. On the boards are the names of 64 dead, including 12 civilian deaths, none of whom are older than 53 years. /wochenspiegellive.de
