Killing institution Grafeneck.
In the Nazi era, disabled people were murdered at Grafeneck Castle near Münsingen in the Swabian Alb (Baden-Württemberg). The National Socialists classified their lives as "unworthy". For thousands of sick and needy people this place meant their "final stop". At Grafeneck over 10,000 people were killed at that time. The bereaved received consolation letters in which other reasons were cited as the cause of death.

From Grafeneck Castle you have a good view. But you should also take a look at the history of the castle. In the last century, it changed between caring for and relocating disabled people and - in the 1940s - killing them.
