Here you can cross the yoke, either descend towards the Tanheimer Tal or on the other side towards the Füssener Hütte. The ridge path over the yoke is easily manageable except for the Schartenschrofen, after which it continues on the Friedberger via ferrata. In the other direction to the Sonnenalm / gondola, the more difficult passage over the Läuferspitze can also be avoided on easier paths.

Not really a real summit, probably more of a memorial cross as you can find it here more often. The view is nice for a break, especially in the evening (when it is no longer so crowded from the via ferrata and therefore calmer).
