Anyone hoping for a via ferrata will be almost disappointed here.

You should certainly carry whatever equipment you need for this route
-Appropriate footwear
-Gloves
-Belt
-Y connector
-Helmet

But it is a very short passage

The note: Only for experienced people!
This certainly only refers to “sneaker hikers” who tend to overestimate themselves

Anyone with a little alpine experience will have no problems on the short section secured with a rope. For normal hikers it can be a bit exciting, as the path is steep in places and a little exposed, but it is doable if you hold on to the rope well. Using a via ferrata set to secure yourself here is probably a bit over the top for most people. You should let oncoming traffic pass first, then you will have more peace and quiet on the section of the path.

Nothing can happen if you hold on tight to the wire rope, but you shouldn't necessarily look into the depths. However, if "oncoming traffic" comes from the direction of the summit cross, things can get tight and hectic!
