Imperial Count Friedrich von Stadion, Minister and Chancellor of the Archbishop and Elector of Mainz, built his little country palace in 1756 as a summer residence. It can be assigned to the late baroque architectural style. Inside there are artistic rococo stucco ceilings and masterful stone carvings. For years the Zander Museum with naïve works of art was here.
