A wonderful view over the South Tyrolean mountain landscape is the reward for the long and strenuous ascent from Marlengo to the Vigiljoch. There are different options for the descent: either the same way back via the Naturnser Alm, via Darling in the direction of Meran, or (my favourite) via Aschbach down to the Adige. If you like it sporty, you can use the mountain bike trails in the direction of Lana (keep in the direction of the cable car).

After a long climb, the Vigiljoch is finally reached. A wonderful view over the South Tyrolean mountain landscape is the reward for the long and strenuous ascent from Marlengo to the Vigiljoch. The descent towards Aschbach will be an experience!
