The 2.2-kilometer wine trail Oberdollendorf leads through the approximately eight-acre vine area with the layers Laurentiusberg, Rosenhügel and Sülzenberg. The acreage was rearranged by a land consolidation procedure from 1973 to 1979. The Sülzenberg belongs to the dating back to the 10th century earlier Freihofs Gut Sülz. The estate was since the 14th century property of the Abbey Heisterbach and until 1803 the center of the Heisterbacher wine industry. Since 1823 it is in changing private property.

As soon as the grapevines have sprouted green beautifully, now, with low-hanging clouds and only the sticks without green, the whole thing looks a little bleak. However, the view of the valley is also worth a second look, in good weather.
