Tivoli Park, the largest and most beautiful park in Ljubljana, stretches into the city center. According to the plans of the French engineer J. Blanchard from 1813, it was created from two earlier parks surrounding the Podturn and Cekinov grad chateaux. It measures around 5 km2 and is crossed by three avenues of chestnut trees. The park area with flower fields and interesting trees is complemented by numerous statues and several fountains. The park area leads to the Rožnik forest hill with several walking paths and jogging paths with gymnastics equipment.

The beautifully landscaped park is ideal for strolling. The park is easy to reach from the old town. It's easy to walk, there are separate cycle paths and plenty of places to stop for refreshments. Ideal if you want to relax from the hustle and bustle of the city.
