In the old Senftenberg fortress, which was once supposed to protect against the Brandenburgers as a Saxon bastion, you can wonderfully immerse yourself in bygone times. For over 100 years there has been a museum in the castle, which invites you to take an extraordinary trip to the region with modern exhibitions. From the splendor of the Saxon days in today's Brandenburg and the heyday of the fortress, the mining traditions of Lusatia or the history of a small town to modern art, there is a lot to discover.
