Definitely one of the highlights on Sao Miguel is the natural swimming pool at "Ponta Da Ferraria": At low tide, the water is comfortably heated by a thermal spring, natural waves come from the Atlantic - all in all, a top-class thermal wave pool. The pool is accessed via ladders, there are ropes in the pool to hold on to. Bathing shoes are recommended due to the rocky bottom (in the pool and on the way). Changing rooms and showers are available.

Great opportunity to go swimming. If the swell is not too high, you will notice the warmer water. Changing rooms, toilets available. There are also enough parking spaces.
