The small Blasiuskapelle forms the center of the settlement Blasiusberg, which developed from a hermitage on the mountain of the same name. Already since the 13th century, a chapel stood on this site, but the first building made of wood burned down several times over the centuries. The present building dates from 1716. In the turmoil of the French Revolution, a Benedictine brother named Wilhelm Frank retired to the chapel and set up here a small apartment. Even today he is known in the village as Brother Lappes.

Today the little chapel is a quiet place of contemplation.
