The ferry takes you from Groß Rosenburg to the other side of the bank so that you can cycle towards Barby.

The ferry times are from Monday to Friday from 5.15 a.m. to 6.30 p.m. and on weekends and public holidays from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. For cyclists, the crossing costs 1.50 euros.

Attention !!!!! When we were standing at the ferry there was only ferry service from 6:00 a.m. to 8:00 a.m. and then again only from 1:00 p.m.! No signs beforehand! It is better to find out beforehand whether or when it will drive. It really cost us nerves on the way from Magdeburg to Leipzig. Unfortunately, there was no phone number on the notice board (directly on the offshoot) where you could possibly get information, but it seems to change frequently, because the note was pasted over dozens of times.

Just don't plan this ferry into any tour, because it runs far too irregularly. Sometimes because of illness, sometimes because of low water, sometimes because of insufficient occupancy. So you can bend.
