The Col de Fréland is rather unspectacular in terms of altitude, but it attracts with fantastic landscape and an almost car-free pleasure ride away from busy roads. It connects the Strengbach valley with the Béhine valley and is worth the detour for the scenery alone.

The Col de Fréland is located away from busy roads between Sélestat and the Col du Bonhomme, it connects the Strengbach valley with the Béhine valley (or the Kaysersberg valley).
As a single pass, it is rather unspectacular in terms of technical data, but it is ideal as a low-traffic connection from Ribeauvillé to the Col du Bonhomme and adds a few additional meters in altitude. In terms of scenery, the detour is always worth it.
