Here is a "real" Celtic village - just as it might have looked like 2,000 years ago. Here you can visit ten buildings, from the house to craftwork and storage buildings, all of which were modeled on the original Celtic construction.

The Celtic village lies at the foot of the Celtic ring wall, one of the most impressive Celtic fortifications in Europe, whose ten-meter-high walls can also be admired.

Summer opening times:
Thursday to Saturday 13 to 18 o'clock
Sundays and public holidays 10am to 6pm

Admission: 2.5 euros (children 1.5 euros)

The Otzenhausen Celtic Village is a reconstruction of a Celtic settlement from the 1st century BC on the Hunnenring. It features residential buildings, workshops, and granaries, surrounded by a palisade that depicts Celtic life. Visitors can take part in themed tours, workshops, and archaeological demonstrations. The surrounding area also offers space for cultural events and theater performances.

Celtic village near the ring wall Otzenhausen, a reconstruction of a real "Celtic" village, as it is in the
late Iron Age (4th / 5th century BC) inside the ring wall of Otzenhausen could have looked onto the Dollberg.
The settlement consists of 10 residential, craft and storage buildings and is surrounded by a picket fence. The residents lived mainly from the rich iron ore deposits
and their smelting.
