In the old town of Cochem are many beautiful half-timbered houses, which are almost all restored. Large parts of the city wall are still in existence and above all rises the imperial castle Cochem in the south. You should use this backdrop and pause for an espresso or a delicious Mosel wine in front of the interesting town hall.

But you should visit the narrow streets very early or in the evening. Then it's quieter and you can admire the beauty of the city center much better. Plus a nice dry Riesling in the evening... Perfect!
