Geisa Castle once served as a hunting lodge and summer residence for the principality in Fulda. Today the headquarters of the Point Alpha Foundation is located here, which is dedicated to educational and research work on the Cold War in Europe and the maintenance of the Point Alpha memorial towns at Geisa. The rooms on the ground floor can be used for meetings and celebrations.

The former district court, the baroque palace, the former prison and the evangelical church form the Palace Square ensemble of Geisa.
Located directly on the Gangolfiberg and at the same time in the center, the palace residence offers a wonderful view over the roofs of the city to the surrounding Rhön.
