With the cable car you can easily get from Kandersteg to Sunnbüel. From here you can go various hiking routes. We always take Sunnbüel as a starting point for hikes to the Daubensee or for the descents back to the village via the direct path or the detour via the Gurnigelweg (firm footwear recommended!) To the Gasterntal. Scenic everything is very attractive. Even a challenging trial route leads from here into the valley.

For the Fitten among you the ascent is to be recommended. Solid shoes, something to drink are a must. Once at the top, you can stay with good views, or go back to the valley via various other routes.
