    The Gremsmühle is one of the oldest mills in Holstein and gives its name to the town of Bad Malente-Gremsmühlen.

    The Gremsmühle is a water-powered grain mill, from which the town of Bad Malente-Gremsmühlen owes its name. It is located between the Kellersee and Dieksee lakes and is powered by the waters of the Schwentine, formerly known as the Gremsau. Due to its favorable location on the abundant river, the mill has survived for many centuries and is now one of the oldest mills in Holstein.
