The type "Guildhall" is obtained at the Princely Quarry in Romberg bei Gildehaus and is white to greyish-orange. The Gildehauser sandstone is mined in the lower part of a historic quarry in the so-called main sandstone and the block sizes are due to the existing gaps 4.50 × 1.50 × 1.00 meters in size, which are further divided. Part of the orange variety is occasionally broken on the eastern outskirts of Bentheim.
