Furnace Creek Wash Road is a quiet, gradual dirt road off the paved road leading up to Dante's View point. It is off the beaten track, leads gently south along the wash towards the turnoff to Deadman's Pass, on several loop options back to the starting point for an enjoyable half-day ride, or south to Badwater Road.
Free dispersed camping is allowed all along the road, most spectacular among millions of flowers in early spring.
