The church property was first mentioned in a document at the beginning of the 15th century. Pastor families from Wiehl found their center of life here. This is how the name originated from people's mouths - Pfaffenberg: The mountain on which the Pfaffen live.
As if awakened from a slumber, the old, listed building is back in the center of the mountain of the same name.
