The place at the "Johannesbrünnlein" on the Goldberg with its many benches invites you to take a break during a hike or a walk to enjoy the beautiful view of the Lahn valley to Cölbe, Wehrda and Marburg Castle in the distance. Today everything just came together and so I took the opportunity to make a quick sketch of this view in the beautiful weather.

No - there is no gold on the Goldberg, but there is a beautiful view towards Marburg and the castle into the Lahn valley. There are plenty of benches to accommodate even a large hiking group. If you want to learn more, you can find out all about the forest pasture on the Goldberg.
