The "Roman bridge" with two arches in Lavertezzo, the small village of Corippo - architectural monument of national importance, and the Verzasca dam, one of the highest dams in Europe.
The Vogorno Lake, is an artificial pool whose water is used to generate electricity. The construction of the dam, owned by Verzasca SA, lasted from 1960 to 1965. The dam of Verzasca, 220 meters high, is one of the highest in the world. Here man has created a work of great effect and great benefit.
