Several times the Trappist beer from Westvleteren has been voted the best beer in the world. Unfortunately, the abbey can not be visited, but on fixed dates you can buy beer here on pre-order. Opposite the abbey is "In de Vrede", where all three beers brewed by the monks are served.

The Trappist of Westvleteren is considered one of the best beers in the world. The brewery itself cannot be visited. A visit to the Claustrum, where you can get acquainted with the life of the abbey community, is possible. You can taste the Trappist in the nearby café/restaurant 'In de Vrede'.
