Nice climb up to the top of the Rotofens - but not entirely without it. But you should be on the move with good footwear and great surefootedness, as there is still a narrow ridge with a steep slope to overcome, especially at the top.

The path to the summit starts with a rocky path and some easy mountaineering.
In the upper part it becomes a bit exposed and before the summit you have to climb a ridge that drops steeply on one side.
Only recommended for very sure-footed, experienced hikers/mountaineers with appropriate footwear.
