This is a really beautiful pedestrian bridge. Cyclists please dismount! (and enjoy). The Slinky Springs to Fame spiral bridge winds its way casually over the Rhine-Herne Canal in Oberhausen in 496 aluminum arches. Tobias Rehberger designed the bridge for the Emscherkunst in the 2010 Capital of Culture year at a location where a bridge that no longer exists once connected the Emscher Island with the historic Kaisergarten.
