    Wielicki Pond is a mountain pond located in the Wielicka Valley in the Slovak part of the High Tatras. It is from there that mountain tourists begin the rest of their trek to the highest peak of the Tatra Mountains, Gerlach. The pond is located at an altitude of 1669 m above sea level and you may be tempted to say that it resembles our Polish Morskie Oko to a large extent. A 7-kilometer long driveway leads to the pond, which is also the highest paved asphalt available for cyclists in the Tatras. Its average slope is almost 10%,
